This is a simple utility for exporting Crates in Mixxx to an XML file. It willalso load these same XML files into a Mixxx Library.
By default, crateport will output the generated XML file to standard input(the screen). Just call it like so:
XML files are no exception to this statement as Integration Services can load various XML files at various levels of complexity. Before we dive into the load process, we need to cover a few basics about XML files. First, an XML file is an extensible Markup Language file; XML itself is a Markup Language which shares some similarities to HTML. Mixxx is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. As such, its command line options are only useful for development or debugging, as they make these tasks easier. Here is an exhaustive list: These are case-sensitive. If, for some reason you need to explicitly set crateport to export mode youcan use the option flag '-e' or '--export', ie:
To load the crate into the Mixxx Library, use the '-i- or '--import' option:
You can also specify a different Mixxx Library Database File using the '-d' or'--dbname' flag.
If not set explicitly it will use the default Mixxx Library location for yourplatform.

Put the two files in
~/.mixxx/controllers .
Everything is as explained in the manual except for the FX buttons becasueMixxx only have one effect. FX1 is the flanger and FX2, FX3 and TAP arehigh frequency kill, mid frequency kill and low frequency kill.

Press the files knob to change between folder and file mode, back is unusedat the moment.
